The International Communications Committee is pleased to share with you its first publication of Jim's Gems. During the 2009 regional conferences, Jim Miller, our official photographer, agreed to join the International Communications Committee in providing photography tips for the membership. These tips are especially for editors and webmasters and should be most useful.

Attention Prospective Texas State Convention Chorus Members
Good News About Membership Awards in Texas
For 2009-2010, Texas chapters will be eligible to win three separate awards during the same time period! These awards are:
- Shoe-In Award for chapters which: 1. Maintain membership 2. Increase membership 3. Add a member from an educational environment not currently represented in their chapter.
- Rosebud Award for chapters which Maintain Membership.
- Tudor Rose Award for chapters which Increase Membership
The time frame under consideration is January 1, 2009 – May 1, 2010 which will give chapters four extra months to add members. FAQ
