ASTEF Mission
The mission of ASTEF is
- to provide funding for activities that support professional and personal growth of women educators in Texas
- to promote educational excellence for Texas students
ASTEF accepts and distributes money for Texas State Organization Scholarships, Leadership, and Projects. Guidelines for Scholarships and Leadership Seminar are unchanged from recent years. As policies and guidelines for Projects are developed, members will be informed through the TSO website, Lone Star News, and/or Newsettes.
Contributions to ASTEF may be made as memorials or honorariums and are tax-exempt. Contributions will be applied to Projects unless specifically designated for Scholarships and/or Leadership.
