The Alpha State Membership Committee has the responsibility for establishing guidelines in the state by-laws and standing rules for membership including such activities as:

  1. Studying and make recommendations related to state organization's membership concerns.
  2. Encouraging active chapter recruiting practices.
  3. Facilitating the selection process of state honorary members and maintaining appropriate records.

The Texas State Organization Membership Committee will collaborate with International Society counterparts, Society leaders and other Texas state organization committees to provide Texas chapters with helpful information to assist in nurturing members, recruiting committed new members and educating our members and communities about the benefits and responsibilities of Society membership.
