Necrology Committee
BACK
The Necrology Committee recognizes and honors deceased members. The committee receives the notice of death, sends a condolence card to a family member or close friend, lists the names in The Lone Star News and records the names in the Book of Memories. The Celebration of Life and Remembrance is planned and presented at the annual State Convention by the committee . All members of the Necrology Committee participate in this ceremony. They also present workshop sessions at State Conventions and Area Workshops and produce handouts for those events.
